The CLR consists of a run relay (216 miles) and a walk relay (132 miles) and a High School Challenge Relay (132 miles). The run relay starts from Diamond Lake Resort and the Walk/HS challenge starts from Silver Lake Oregon. Standard teams consist of 7-12 people, and ultra teams consist of 4-6 people. Solo runners/walkers are welcome too!

This unique course features a variety of Oregon terrain, from the lakes of Southern Oregon to the marsh & red hills of Eastern Oregon to the Mountains of Central Oregon. Starting in Diamond Lake and finishing in Bend, you have the perfect Oregon vacation with destinations at the start & finish.

At the race finish, have lunch or dinner and enjoy the Awards ceremony acknowledging division winners and contest winners to include: Best Decorated Van, most spirited volunteer, Best Costume, Team Spirit, Time Trial Leg winners. Spend time with your team swapping stories of your racing adventure at the beer garden while watching teams cross the finish line to rocking music.

The CLR has quickly become one of Oregon’s most popular running and walking events, providing a beautiful course with minimal traffic and the intimate feel of a small but professional event. Every aspect of the CLR is world-class, from our tech shirts to our medals to our course amenities and finish line. With a cap of less than 200 teams each year for both the run/walk relay - the CLR has become a very popular event with a family/friendly atmosphere where you are more than just bib #1000.
